WALSB Mission Statement

The purpose of the Western Academy of Legal Studies in Business (WALSB) is to promote and encourage scholarship and superior teaching of business law and legal studies in colleges and universities.  The organization provides a forum for those engaged in research or teaching in the fields of business law and legal studies of business to interact, exchange ideas, collaborate, and network. We host an annual academic conference each spring that brings together practitioners and academics from around the world. WALSB also publishes the Western Law & Business Review.

WALSB is one of the regional associations of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB).    Founded in 1924, the Academy of Legal Studies in Business (International) is an association of teachers and scholars in the fields of business law, legal environment, and law-related courses.
