Duties of the Executive Board

The WALSB Executive Board is composed of six voting members (President, Vice President, Conference Chair, Past President, Secretary, and Treasurer) and one non-voting member (Editor-in-Chief of the Western Law & Business Review).  Executive Board members are elected by the membership during the business meeting at the annual conference. The President, Vice President, Conference Chair and Past President serve one year terms in each position. The Secretary, Treasurer and Editor-in-Chief of the Western Law & Business Review serve three year terms. 

The Executive Board is responsible for planning the annual conference, overseeing publication of the Western Law & Business Review, communicating relevant updates with the membership, managing the finances of the organization, promoting the organization and maintaining a good relationship with the national Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB).
